Mr. Roy is a seasoned Human Resources professional in the corporate sector, with specialization in the learning and development domain. He has had over 20+ years of extensive experience in talent development and management in some of the top-tier global organizations and has worked across geographies and cultures, designing and deploying some stellar learning programs.
Mr. Roy’s experience in the talent development field extends across domains such as Leadership and Professional Development, Integration and Culture, Inclusive Offerings, Sales Capability Building, and High-Tech Learning Solutions. His skill sets span across the learning and development domain from learning strategy and solutions, to operations and delivery, to instructional design, to content creation and management.
Mr. Roy is currently the Global Lead – Capability Development for a future technology vertical with Accenture, one of the world’s top consulting and IT services firm. In this role, he works with leading-edge technology firms like Salesforce, Amazon, and Google to build their cloud-based capabilities within Accenture Business Groups to enable and enhance the organization’s go-to-market capabilities across all geographies.
Before Accenture, Indranil was a Senior Management Consultant with IBM Global Services in the HR and Talent domain. In that role, he consulted multiple global and Indian firms spread across industries to create futuristic resource bases engaged with the latest technology offerings in the field of skills and capability development. He was among the early adopters of technology in deploying artificial intelligence capabilities to create career development paths for professionals.
Mr. Roy started his career as a Language and Process Trainer in the medical transcription industry, but soon moved into the formal world of learning and development as an Level-1 (the highest level in the domain) Certified Instructional Designer with General Electric, the pioneering organization of corporate management practices. As an Instructional Designer, he was engaged in creating learning strategies, content design, and training deployment, many of whose programs went on to win prestigious global awards like The Golden Peacock Excellence Award, the Helen Keller Award, Stevie International Business Award, and The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning and Development Award.
Mr. Roy is a Gallup-certified Trainer and Strengths coach. Within Accenture, in 2017, he was recognized as one of the top 10 trainers of leadership training programs across the enterprise.
