Dr. Jonali Baruah is an associate professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Tarleton State University, A Member of Texas A&M University System. Her research examines the cognitive processes underlying creativity in face-to-face and virtual groups. She is also interested in examining the effects of diversity in team innovation. Dr. Baruah has published papers in various international journals and hosted workshops across the world on group creativity and innovation.
After completing her first Masters with a specialization in Human Development from SNDT University, Mumbai, she completed a second Masters degree and a PhD.  in experimental psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to her current job, she worked as a research associate at the UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, and as a visiting assistant professor of psychology at Southern Methodist University, Dallas.
